Joan Escolà has a solid track record in the wine and spirits sector, combining a deep technical background with more than 15 years of experience in commercial areas, logistics, customer service and training.

Since his beginnings in the back office of Escolà Vins i Destil-lats, he has held different positions within the family business, such as mixed manager of HORECA and wholesalers, back office support for the implementation and opening of national distributors for an importer of craft spirits and, in recent years, implementing the carbon footprint in Escolà vins i destil-lats.

From January 2022 to 2023, he takes over full management of Magatzem, consolidating a vision focused on sustainability, customer proximity and excellence in the product offering.

It is at this stage that he discovers the passion and satisfaction of giving tastings. Where users discover a new way of enjoying a gastronomic experience.

Certified with the WSET Level 2 Award in Spirits and with specialised training in EnoAula up to Level 3, Joan advises from an empathetic and technical approach, elaborating tailor-made wine tastings and guiding the client on a sensory and emotional journey, always with an artisan spirit: that of a cabinetmaker at heart.
